Linda Wilson, President/Owner Sunrise Media
Linda’s career began at Art Kulman & Associates. Her responsibilities included account management and media buying for Seattle’s Super Sonics, Sears, ABC Record and Tape Sales. She was recruited by Cole & Weber, where she held the position of Media Manager for Boeing, Washington State Apples, Consolidated Dairy (Darigold), Weisfield Jewelers and The Puyallup Fair. Each leadership position encompassed a variety of rolls…media buying and management for branding and event campaigns locally, regionally and nationally.
Recognizing her expertise of media relationships, strong negotiating skills and a commitment to her clients, it opened the door to start the first independent media buying company in Seattle in 1980. She continues to build strategic, effective and efficient campaigns and is determined to stay in front of the technology curve to guide the agency clients forward to reach desired outcomes.
Our clients include Taco Time NW, The GET Program, Puget Sound Energy, Archdiocese of Seattle, Sportco, Auburn Dairy to name a few.
Linda is a Nellie Cashman Award Finalist and a Telly Award recipient. She is a member of the Washington Policy Center, Women Business Owners and is a Washington State certified Woman Business Owner. She has served on the marketing board of the Boys and Girls Club and has worked on various Arthritis Foundation committees.
Pam Haruta, Media Director
Pam has been with Sunrise Media for 25 years. As Media Director, she is responsible for understanding available research and strategic development of media plans and supervising media buyer campaign assignments on behalf of our clients. She uses our in-house buying/measurement tools daily to ensure successful outcomes for each campaign initiated. Pam helps with client services to ensure that all required and needed reports are delivered.
Prior to joining the agency, Pam was an account executive in the Radio industry. Her work in radio laid the ground work in developing strong media relationships, understanding of advertising strategy, cost controls and budget management and promotion/event insights…all of which have benefited our clients.
Pam is very active in her Church and serves as The Ministry Council Chair. She is charged with coordination, development and visioning the program ministry areas of the Church.
Josh Dirks serving as Social Media

Josh is an old hand at new media. He made his first big moves at Door-to-Door Moving and Storage, where his leadership and tireless work ethic resulted in record earnings for his division and created an online marketing strategy that’s still used today. Josh joined the internet marketing world at 10X Marketing, a company founded by Paul Allen to provide full-service Web marketing services to businesses. He became a senior member of the team that launched 10X’s proprietary SEO technology to an international market.
After 10X was acquired, Josh created Pin Point Marketing, which specialized in search engine optimization, pay-per-click and affiliate marketing. Not satisfied with one new company, he quickly became a founding member of three other high-tech ventures – AdBasix, Great American Scavenger Hunt and BlaghNow. Additionally, he also launched ExtremeNW, a social networking site for Northwest adventure seekers.
Josh was Director of Digital and Strategic Sales and Marketing for Entercom Communications. In this role he became a thought leader in media integration and how to harness the power of social media within the traditional space. Many of the campaigns he worked on were the company’s most successful. Josh founded Project Bionic three and half years ago and has developed a cohesive partnership with Sunrise Media to offer our clients a unique opportunity to be in the driver’s seat of new and emerging social media platforms and opportunities.
Preston Parshall serving as SEO/SEM

Preston has worked in the online advertising space for the past 6 years with Point It. He now brings his wealth of knowledge in creating strategic search engine marketing to our client campaigns. He has helped a wide variety of clients in different verticals and revenue models. The focus is always to put together online advertising strategies that focus on a company’s target demographic, location and what messaging will resonate with each campaign target group. He understands developing online strategies that utilize all the elements of digital marketing and finding the balance of Display, Paid Search (PPC), Mobile Marketing and Campaign Landing Page Optimization.
